The Brian Setzer Orchestra will be kicking off their 2014 “Christmas Rocks Extravaganza!” 11th Annual Christmas tour in Minneapolis, MN on Friday, November 14th! Brian officially signs the deed of ownership over to the Smithsonian after rocking the house!
Brian’s evocative replica “Stray Cat” 1959 6120 Gretsch is the latest inductee to the Smithsonian! Setzer’s guitar will join a large and diverse collection of musical instruments at the museum that includes John Coltrane’s saxophone, Dizzy Gillespie’s trumpet, Prince’s Yellow Cloud electric guitar and Eddie Van Halen’s “Frank 2” guitar.

His guitar will be housed in the same museum as John Coltrane’s saxophone, Dizzy Gillespie’s trumpet, The Star-Spangled Banner Flag, Alexander Graham Bell’s telegraph, and Muhammad Ali’s gloves.
